Tejano Walk of Fame
The Tejano walk of fame attracts visitors from all over the state, who come here to pay tribute to their favorite Tejano music stars. At its grand opening in 1999, the names five musicians were honored by having their names next to a marble star integrated into the walkway, with additional Tejano Music Stars added every year during Hispanic Heritage Months.
The sculptor by Richard Hyslin depicts Jose Roberto Pulido, an Edinburg native and one of the pioneers in Tejano Music.
